We are seeking a Senior DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Researcher to be embedded with Comcast’s Research Team, supporting both internal and external DEI initiatives. The position includes analyzing workplace data, conducting quantitative and qualitative surveys, and providing actionable insights to foster a more inclusive environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to research societal trends, measure DEI progress, and offer strategic recommendations. The role requires staying current on best practices and emerging issues within DEI to ensure the organization's approach is data-driven and impactful.


This role provides a great opportunity for a dynamic individual to become part of a diverse, high-performing team in a large organization and be exposed to a range of cutting-edge market research methodologies and the research operations mechanism that drives it. This is a full time position working EST hours, requiring 3-4 days in the Philadelphia office.


Core Responsibilities and Tasks


  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze data related to diversity, equity, and inclusion within and outside the organization.

  • Survey Development & Analysis: Help design, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative surveys to assess culture, belonging, and experiences related to DEI.

  • Research management: Manage the full research cycle including vendor management, stakeholder management, operational management, coordinate data flow from multiple sources, and Manage project timelines

  • Metrics Development: Create and maintain key DEI metrics and performance indicators to track progress and assess the effectiveness of DEI initiatives.

  • Reporting & Dashboards: Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to visualize data trends and provide insights to leadership and HR teams.

  • Benchmarking: Compare the organization's DEI metrics to industry standards and competitors, identifying areas for improvement or opportunities for growth.

  • Program Evaluation: Evaluate the impact of existing DEI programs, initiatives, services and products.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Social Science, or a related field

  • 3+ years experience in market research (Quant and Qual) and data analysis

  • Experience working on DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives / research

  • Ability to come to the Comcast Philadelphia Offices 3-4 times a week

  • Strong experience with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R, Tableau)

  • Strong PowerPoint skills

  • Strong experience with quantitative research methods (e.g., survey design, sampling methodologies, and statistical analysis)

  • Strong experience with qualitative research methods (e.g., focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnographic studies)

  • Creative problem solving and navigating technical and logistical obstacles

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Team player with exceptional communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and requests

  • Capable of working both independently on projects and collaborating with a team

  • Proficiency with a statistical package such as Stata, SPSS or “R” - An advantage
