Position Overview:

OGC has partnered with Salesforce to support the development of their Customer Experience (CX) program. As part of this partnership, we are seeking a Salesforce CX Analytics Specialist who will be embedded within Salesforce as an OGC contractor. This role will play a key part in leveraging Salesforce Cloud capabilities and advanced analytics to drive CX insights and operational improvements. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join a high-performing team, working on establishing a centralized CX program and manage initiatives that impact the business worldwide. The Salesforce Analytics Specialist will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing customer data within various Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud). This role requires strong analytical skills, data visualization experience, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem to enhance customer experience.

This is a remote, full time, embedded contractor role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Salesforce Reports and Tableau.
  • Managing day-to-day analytics tasks, including data extraction, cleaning, and reporting to provide actionable insights for various business units
  • Analyze and interpret Salesforce data to provide insights that drive CX strategy and improvements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and optimize Salesforce data structures accordingly.
  • Support data integrations between Salesforce and external analytics platforms.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security within the Salesforce environment.
  • Work with internal teams to automate and streamline data processes using Salesforce Flows, Apex, and other automation tools.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce reporting and dashboards.
  • Experience with Tableau (significant advantage).
  • Knowledge of SQL, SOQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dataloader, APIs) - an advantage.
  • Understanding of Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Apex) - an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder) - a significant advantage.
