  • On-site
    • Madrid, Comunidad de Madrid, Spain

Job description

An executive based in Madrid is seeking a full-time personal assistant to support household management and day-to-day activities. This position is ideal for someone highly organized, dependable, and looking for a long-term role in a respectful and well-structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pet care – Feeding, walking, and providing general care for dogs.

  • Light cooking – Preparing healthy, balanced meals using quality ingredients.

  • Household upkeep – Light cleaning, laundry, and ensuring the home remains tidy and well-organized.

  • Errands and shopping – Running local errands, including grocery and household supply shopping.

  • House sitting – Staying in the home approximately 100 nights per year while the executive is traveling, primarily to care for an elderly dog who cannot be left alone for extended periods. The expectation is that the assistant is comfortable staying in and providing consistent companionship during these periods, which may last up to 10–15 consecutive days.

Please note: This role is not suitable for candidates with dependent children, pets, or other personal obligations that would limit overnight availability.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday: 4 hours during the day, plus occasional evening support (~1 hour)

  • Saturday: 1-2 hours during the day in the evening occasionally

  • Weekly hours may vary — some weeks may be longer and others shorter. There is flexibility in the working hours, and the same level of flexibility is expected in return.

Job requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish – Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages are essential.

  • Relevant experience – Prior roles in personal assistance, household management, or similar work are required.

  • Healthy cooking skills – Proven ability to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals.

  • Work authorization – Legal right to work in Spain is required.

  • Clean background – A criminal background check may be conducted.

  • Reliability and flexibility – A dependable, adaptable presence is key, especially for house-sitting responsibilities.

Compensation:

  • Competitive monthly salary, based on experience

  • Annual performance-based bonus

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-run and respectful household in Madrid. Candidates who meet the above criteria and are seeking a stable, full-time position are encouraged to apply.
