We are currently looking for a Panel Research & Communications Coordinator to support Comcast’s Research Team, specifically focusing on a dedicated, new product line. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the management of a new branded market research panel, acting as a steward for day-to-day panel operations and activities. This role will work closely with the panel management software company and require daily engagement with clients to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their business needs.

As part of our high-performing team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a range of market research techniques while working closely with Comcast product lines. This position offers a unique chance to be exposed to the telecommunications industry and contribute to the success of our innovative product offerings.

This is a full time, US based, remote position, working EST time zone.


Core Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Primary point of contact in managing panel implementation and maintenance processes from start to finish

  • Propose and develop panel recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies through analysis of the available panel data and knowledge of external panel management best practices

  • Master the panel and project execution platform

  • Manage day-to-day communications with panel members via email, newsletters, social media etc.

  • Promptly respond to panel member questions, concerns and issue tickets to resolve problems

  • Develop and implement a robust communications strategy for evangelizing panel insights across client and stakeholder teams

  • Serve as a trusted adviser with your clients - including looking for additional survey opportunities as well as regular business reviews of accomplishments

  • Stay current on market research panel industry standards, innovations and best practices

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize accordingly while maintaining superior client service

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Masters degree (Advantage)

  • 1-3 years experience in market research or project management

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Familiarity with a survey programming tool such as Qualtrics, Decipher, or Survey Monkey

  • Experience / familiarity with survey design and market research methods

  • Experience/familiarity with My-Take platform (significant advantage)

  • Experience/familiarity with communications planning and implementation, such as infographics and newsletters

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

  • Strong workflow and management skills including organization, time/project management, planning, and implementation

  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and requests with competing deadlines

  • Strong critical thinking and adaptive problem-solving skills, ability to reprioritize and/or revise strategy and implementation efficiently and effectively across projects

  • Capable of working both independently on projects and collaborating with a team

  • Ability to learn new technological/analytical tools and methodologies quickly

  • Demonstrated experience and/or interest in survey-based market research, customer experience, data analysis (descriptive statistics) and statistical research concepts
